A camp at Erg Chebbi is a cluster of tents set among the dunes, reached by camel or by 4x4 from the edge of Merzouga. For a wedding or a family celebration it is set for your party: tents for you and your guests, a dining tent, a fire, and musicians after dark. Desert nights are cool for much of the year, so the evening is planned around blankets, firelight and warm tents. What the camp provides is confirmed with it in writing before you commit. Any ceremony is symbolic, in your own words: the legal part is done at home.
