A Morocco destination wedding is usually a celebration or a symbolic ceremony: most couples complete the legal marriage at home, then gather in Morocco for the day itself. The settings are a riad courtyard in Marrakech, a camp in the Sahara, a lodge in the High Atlas or the Atlantic at Essaouira. We arrange the travel around it, for you and your guests: private driver-guides, hand-picked riads and camps, transfers and dinners. We plan the ceremony day too: your planner books the flowers, music and a celebrant with local specialists, and every item is in your written quote.

Marrakech medina
A riad turns inward: the rooms open onto a courtyard of tiles, orange trees and a fountain, with a roof terrace above. Taken whole for the days around the wedding, it becomes the place your party wakes up, has breakfast and gathers in the evening. Riads are small by design, so a larger guest list needs several neighbouring riads or a bigger property, and we will tell you plainly what fits.
The Sahara
The camps at Erg Chebbi near Merzouga, and the remoter Erg Chigaga, are a long drive from Marrakech, so they suit a small party willing to travel for it. Evenings are lantern light and dinner on the sand. Agafay, about an hour from the city, is stone hills rather than dunes and far easier for guests. Desert nights in winter are cold.
High Atlas
Around Imlil and the valleys south of Marrakech, kasbah-style lodges sit above terraced villages with the high peaks behind. It is an easy drive from the city and cooler in late spring. Space is usually limited, so it suits an elopement-sized party, a welcome lunch or the morning after.
Atlantic coast
The walled port on the Atlantic is breezier and milder than Marrakech in summer, which makes it the natural choice for a July or August date. Sea air, the ramparts, fish grilled at the port and a long beach for guests the day after.
The legal marriage usually happens at home. The celebration happens here.
What a legally binding marriage in Morocco needs depends on your nationality and changes over time. Check with the Moroccan authorities and your own embassy before you plan, and treat the Morocco day as the celebration.

Straight answers
We do not arrange legal marriages. Most international couples marry legally at home, at a registry office or civil ceremony, and hold the celebration or a symbolic ceremony in Morocco. A legally binding marriage of foreign nationals in Morocco has its own requirements, which vary by nationality and change over time, so check them with the Moroccan authorities and your own embassy or consulate before you plan.
The trip and the day itself. For you and your guests: private driver-guides and vehicles, airport pickups, hand-picked riads, kasbahs and desert camps, transfers and dinners. For the celebration: one planner from start to finish, the setting, the evening, flowers, music and a celebrant for a symbolic ceremony, with local specialists for their part, all set out in your written quote. The ceremony is symbolic; legal marriage is done at home.
It depends on the property, and we will not guess. Riads are small by design, so larger parties usually need several neighbouring riads or a bigger property. Tell us your number when you enquire and we check what fits before anything is promised.
Spring (roughly March to May) and autumn (roughly October to November). Inland Marrakech and the desert are very hot from June to August, so a summer date suits the cooler Essaouira coast. Winter days in Marrakech are mild, but desert and Atlas nights are cold, so plan for heaters and blankets.
For a celebration with guests, a year or more. The best riads, camps and local planners book early, and spring and autumn dates go first. A small elopement-style day needs much less lead time.
