Between Ouarzazate and the Sahara, the kasbah road threads two of Morocco's most spectacular canyons, and the drive itself becomes a highlight of a honeymoon. The Todra Gorge narrows to a sheer 300-metre slot; the Dadès twists through rose-coloured rock past the famous switchbacks. In between lie palm oases, earthen kasbahs and the damask roses of the Valley of Roses.
