Couple questions: Proposals and anniversaries
Is Morocco good for an anniversary trip?
Yes. Morocco gives a sense of occasion at every scale: a candlelit dinner alone in the Sahara, a private rooftop in a palace riad, a lunch in a Berber village in the High Atlas, or oysters by the Atlantic, all in about a week and all arranged privately. It suits a couple marking a decade as well as a family gathering.

The short answer

In more detail
Our anniversary guide makes the difference with a honeymoon clear. A honeymoon is two people at the start of something; an anniversary can be a couple returning to romance, a family of three generations marking a parent's milestone, or friends celebrating together. The planning widens with the occasion: more rooms, sometimes a whole riad, and one shared evening at the centre.
For a couple, the pattern looks like a honeymoon with more confidence: a palace riad in Marrakech, a couples' hammam, a night or two in the desert, and a slow finish on the coast. For a larger group, a riad booked for your party alone gives everyone one home, one chef and one courtyard.

The trip should be built around your date first. If it falls in high summer, the coast at Essaouira or Oualidia works better than the desert.
