Couple questions: Proposals and anniversaries
Can you celebrate a milestone birthday in Morocco?
Yes. A fiftieth or seventieth works well with a small group: a riad booked for your party alone, a private chef, a long lunch that becomes the afternoon, and a surprise arranged quietly. For the guest of honour, add what they love most: a cooking class, a dawn balloon flight, a spa day in a hammam or a desert dinner.

The short answer

In more detail
Our special-occasions notes suggest building the journey around the person being celebrated, then capping it with a dinner arranged just for the group. A whole riad gives everyone one courtyard home, with a dedicated chef and staff, so the group is together under one roof.
For a family across generations, private vehicles, connecting rooms and a flexible pace let grandparents and children share gentle days: a medina walk, a camel ride, an Atlas village lunch. Our anniversary guide calls this one great shared evening at the centre of a slower trip.

Plan the surprise with us privately. A cake, flowers in the room, musicians in the courtyard or a calligrapher writing out the date are all possible, and they work best when the guest of honour knows nothing about them. Tell us the age, the number of guests and what the person loves, and we will suggest the base and the one evening to build around. For a bigger group, a private villa with its own pool can work better than a riad.
