Couple questions: Honeymoon planning
How far ahead should we book a Morocco honeymoon?
For spring, autumn, Christmas and any trip with the Sahara or a balloon flight, book 8 to 12 weeks ahead, and earlier for the most sought-after riads and camps. Shorter notice is often still possible. We send a first draft within two to three working days of our first conversation, then refine it with you.

The short answer
For spring, autumn, Christmas and any trip with the Sahara or a balloon flight, book 8 to 12 weeks ahead, and earlier for the most sought-after riads and camps. Shorter notice is often still possible. We send a first draft within two to three working days of our first conversation, then refine it with you.

In more detail
The constraint is the small places. The best riads have only a handful of suites, and the finest desert camps are few, so in high season they fill first. Our booking notes give 8 to 12 weeks for high season and for anything involving the Sahara or a hot-air balloon, and recommend starting earlier for peak dates.
The planning itself is quick. Send a few lines with your dates and what you love; a real person on our team writes back by email, then we send a day-by-day draft and refine it over as many rounds as you need. Most couples settle on a final version after two or three exchanges.

Last-minute trips can still work, usually with a phone call: transfers and day experiences can often be arranged at short notice, and multi-day private journeys need at least 72 hours to arrange drivers, riads and guides. Wedding dates rarely move, so we suggest enquiring as soon as yours is set.
