Couple questions: Weddings and celebrations
What can wedding guests do in Morocco around the wedding?
Plenty. The best Morocco weddings are a shared journey, not a single evening. Guests can start with a welcome dinner, then fill the days with a hammam and spa morning, a guided medina and souk walk, a cooking class, a sunset in the Agafay or a day on the Essaouira coast. Planned well, guests leave having experienced Morocco, not just attended an event.

In more detail
Bring guests in gently. An airport meet-and-greet, private transfers and exclusive-use riads where the party can gather make arrival easy. A welcome dinner on the first night helps everyone shake off the travel and meet each other.
Group activities work best when they are optional. Some guests will want the full programme, others a day by the pool. A planner's team can run the excursions and transfers while the couple has time to rest before the big day.

For guests who stay on, a few extra nights turn the trip into a holiday. The coast, the Atlas or a night in the desert all pair well with a Marrakech wedding.

Good to know
- Share a simple day-by-day plan with guests before they travel.
- Keep at least one day free of organised events.
- Offer longer trips to guests who want to stay on.
