Couple questions: Honeymoon planning
Can you combine Morocco and Portugal on a honeymoon?
Yes, by air. Lisbon and Porto reach Marrakech and Casablanca in about 1.5 to 2 hours, with Royal Air Maroc, TAP and Ryanair. That makes a few days in Portugal followed by a week in Morocco an easy shape for a honeymoon.

The short answer
Yes, by air. Lisbon and Porto reach Marrakech and Casablanca in about 1.5 to 2 hours, with Royal Air Maroc, TAP and Ryanair. That makes a few days in Portugal followed by a week in Morocco an easy shape for a honeymoon.

In more detail
The flight is short enough that you lose very little of the honeymoon to travel. Flying into Marrakech puts you closest to the Sahara, the High Atlas and Essaouira. Flying into Casablanca suits a northern route through Rabat, Fes and Chefchaouen.
From Casablanca airport, a private transfer to Marrakech takes about 2 hours 30 minutes. Lisbon is also a common connecting hub for travellers coming from North America, so a stopover in Portugal can fit naturally on the way in or out.

A simple pattern is three or four nights in Portugal, then seven to ten in Morocco. Seven days pairs Marrakech, the mountains and the coast. Ten days adds two nights in the Sahara. Either way, the Moroccan half is fully private, with your own chauffeur-guide from the arrival airport to the last transfer.

Good to know
- Book the flight between the two countries first, then build the Moroccan route around the arrival airport.
- Morocco keeps UTC+0 all year, the same as Portugal in winter.
