Couple questions: Proposals and anniversaries
Can you hire a photographer for a proposal in Morocco?
Yes. We can arrange a photographer for an hour or for a portrait session, in the dunes, a riad courtyard or the medina lanes, and brief them to stay out of sight until the moment for a surprise proposal. Tell us the setting and the time of day, and we plan the light and the timing around it.

The short answer
Yes. We can arrange a photographer for an hour or for a portrait session, in the dunes, a riad courtyard or the medina lanes, and brief them to stay out of sight until the moment for a surprise proposal. Tell us the setting and the time of day, and we plan the light and the timing around it.

In more detail
Our honeymoon and anniversary tour notes list a photographer among the touches we arrange: a portrait session in the dunes or the medina, or someone discreetly nearby for a proposal or a vow renewal. Our special-occasions notes suggest even an hour is enough to capture the moment.
Light is the main planning choice. The dunes are best at sunset and sunrise. The medina is quietest and softest early in the morning, before the day's crowds. Riad courtyards and rooftops work well at dusk, with candles.

Two cautions. Ask before photographing local people in the medina; many prefer not to be photographed. And for a surprise, decide in advance where the photographer waits and what the signal is, so the moment stays yours. Tell us whether you want natural photos of the day or a posed portrait session, so we can brief the photographer and plan the time it needs. A sunrise session means an early start, so we usually plan a slower morning after it.
