Couple questions: Couples practical
Do you need a visa for a Morocco honeymoon?
Many nationalities can enter Morocco visa-free for a tourist stay, but the rules depend on your passport and can change. Check your own government's travel advice and the official Moroccan sources for your nationality before you book. A passport valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date, with a blank page, is the safe standard.

The short answer
Many nationalities can enter Morocco visa-free for a tourist stay, but the rules depend on your passport and can change. Check your own government's travel advice and the official Moroccan sources for your nationality before you book. A passport valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date, with a blank page, is the safe standard.

In more detail
If your country is not on the visa-free list, you may need a visa or e-visa in advance. Allow time for that in your planning. If the two of you hold different passports, check the rules for each one separately.
Newlyweds should check the names on their passports. Book flights and hotels in the names that appear on the passports you will actually travel with.

Have your riad or hotel address ready for the arrival card. With a meet-and-greet at the airport, the formalities usually pass quickly, and your host is waiting on the other side.

Good to know
- Check entry rules for each passport separately.
- Book flights in the names on your current passports.
- Keep your first night's address ready for arrival.
- Check that each passport is valid for six months beyond arrival.
- Make sure each passport has at least one blank page.
- Read your own government's travel advice before booking.
