Our private aviation notes describe the flight as one of the gentlest ways to see the landscape from above: a slow lift at first light, the palm groves and villages below and the snow line of the High Atlas on the horizon. Because it starts so early, it fits well on a day when you are otherwise resting.
Spring and autumn give the most settled conditions. The flight depends entirely on calm weather, so the operator may move it at short notice. That is why we suggest leaving a spare morning in the plan, rather than booking the balloon on your last day in Marrakech.
