Couple questions: Honeymoon planning
How do we get from Casablanca airport to Marrakech?
The simplest way is a private transfer on the A7 motorway, about 2 hours 30 minutes and 220 km door to door. A driver meets you at arrivals with a name board and takes you to the riad. The train is possible but means changing at Casa Voyageurs, and takes about 4 to 5 hours in all, including waiting time.

The short answer
The simplest way is a private transfer on the A7 motorway, about 2 hours 30 minutes and 220 km door to door. A driver meets you at arrivals with a name board and takes you to the riad. The train is possible but means changing at Casa Voyageurs, and takes about 4 to 5 hours in all, including waiting time.

In more detail
Casablanca Mohammed V (CMN) is Morocco's busiest airport and the main long-haul gateway, so many honeymoons start there even when the trip is centred on Marrakech. A flight-tracked private transfer is the smoothest option, with no train connections, no taxi negotiations and no stops unless you want one.
By train, you take the airport line to Casa Voyageurs in central Casablanca, about 35 to 45 minutes, then an intercity service to Marrakech of about 3 to 3.5 hours. You then need a taxi or a pickup from Marrakech station to your riad.

Because the Marrakech medina is partly car-free, the driver walks you and your bags the last few minutes to the riad door. If you land late after a long-haul flight, the car is the easier choice.

Good to know
- If you can, fly straight into Marrakech instead. Many European routes go direct.
